I have literally tried EVERY single beauty product on the
shelves. I can be quite gullible at times so which made me a prime target for
these advertisement’s and celebrity endorsements. The TRUTH is things that
actually work don’t have to cost you a fortune, or a quarter of your pay check.
Being a huge fan of full coverage make up and the fact that
I used make up daily when I was working in the hotel industry also, in an air
conditioned environment. Working those crazy shifts also made me lazy to wash
off my make up off. A lot of women are GUILTY of this beauty crime. I used to
wake up the next morning or afternoon pillowcase full of makeup.
For the last 3 months I have been using the following
products, and I can definitely see the difference. For the first time I feel I don’t
have to wear make-up, except lip gloss of course lol.
1.
Garnier Pure 3 in 1 Wash/Scrub/Mask.
Estimate price R90.00.
I use this product at least once a day, the scrub serves as a exfoliator
and you can also use it as mask when you leave it on longer, (Don’t forget the
Cucumbers on the eyes, dolls)
2.
Johnsons 3 in 1 Cleanser ( alcohol free). Estimate price
R55.00
I use this product after I wash my face. The instructions are to remove
it with cotton wool. But I would recommend to sleep with it on your face, that
way the toner and moisturiser have ample time to seep into your pores while you
sleep.
3.
Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula with
Vitamin E. Estimate price R10.00 (50ml)
This cream is like a miracle, especially if you suffer from dry skin. I
especially bought the small bottle because the cream goes to waste, and hardens
in the bottle. Besides all you need is a pea size a day to rub on ur neck and
face each day.
4.
Clicks Tissue Oil
with Primrose and Almond Oil. Estimate price R32.00
Use this product twice a week in the evenings. Put it on your neck and
face. Sleep with it on your skin so it can absorb.
5.
Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser &
Make up remover. Estimate Price R80,00
This product is great to remove make up with. Never forget to wash your
make up off. This is the first rule of beauty. It takes two weeks to form a
habit. This should be a good habit to develop.
